Sergeants Mess, Mosman | Sydney
Patricia and Adam are by far one of the most genuine and caring couples we have ever had to pleasure of getting to know – and we do get to know our couples, from our initial meetings to our discussions over the timelines and little details about the day (honesty, we have been to SO many weddings, we have a lot of advice and recommendations to give our couples).
We usually meet again for the pre-wedding shoot – which we highly recommend for those who want to get comfortable with the camera and our shooting style.
We then spend the entire wedding day from start to end with the couple and this really cements the friendship.
We walk away with happy hearts knowing that we have made lifelong friends. This wedding was so well planned – with Patricia being an event planner herself, she really did an amazing job with everything. The entire day ran so smoothly which was a testament to how she planned and executed everything. One of our favourite details was the flower station which was set up in the lobby of the reception where the guests could make up their own bouquets of flowers to take home using the wedding flowers – and there were SO many beautiful flowers. We took about three of them home ourselves and they lasted ages! It was a perfect reminder of the fun we had that day.
The Ceremony and Reception were carried out at our favourite wedding venue, Sergeants Mess & Function in Chowder Bay, Mosman. We can’t say enough about this venue, it can be dressed up however you like, it has stunning harbour views, its incredibly private, has amazing areas to take photos like the wharf at Clifton Gardens or Bradleys Head Amphitheater. It’s amazing to think how much weddings will forever change from this day, we are just so fortunate for them that it came to fruition as it was one of our favourite weddings we have shot!
Lastly we did a portrait session at the Paddington Reservior to ice the cake of this amazing wedding.
