Milsons Point / Darling Quarter | Sydney
We did this wonderful portrait shoot of Georgia and Ryan over two locations in Milsons Point and Darling Quarter. The brief for this shoot was Vegas-esque inspired, to dress up and have a lot of fun.
We started in and around the wharfs at Milson’s Point, just north of Sydney under the Sydney Harbour Bridge for some mid-afternoon photos. We wanted lots of colour and excitement, so pink vegas glasses and cotton candy (fairy floss) was on the menu.
We wanted the feel of the shoot to be almost like they were married at the Elvis Chapel, so having them muck around and being playful and using props like using our 35mm Pentax.
After the mid-afternoon shoot we did a quick costume change and headed into Darling Quarter for some more portraits in blue hour, ending with burgers at Betty’s Burgers.
This is one of our favourite shoots, we love creative ideas and making the portrait session something fun and memorable.
