Sergeants Mess, Mosman | Sydney
Anhtai and Matt pulled together this incredibly special wedding at one of our most beloved wedding receptions, Sergeants Mess in Chowder Bay, Sydney. The wedding were shot on a seperate day to take advantage of the natural lighting because their ceremony at Sergeants Mess ended just before twilight. We are natural light photographers / videographers who aim to emmulate film photography we needed to come back to achieve our light and airy soft and romantic look.
The ceremony was as emotional as it gets, with Georgia Ivory strumming her guitar and singing vocals as they both made their way down the mini garden amphitheater looking over Sydney’s stunning harbour to an adoring crowd.
The reception was on another level, with no expense spared fitting out Sergeants Mess’s main room, from incredible lighting and sound by specialists at Slave the epic fireworks by Sydney Fireworks stunning white dance floor by Sydney Dance Floors.
The first dance was a suprise to all (except us) and started to a RuPaul introduction and songs by Moulin Rouge, Vogue and Dirty Dancing. A three song line up with 3 outfit changes choreographed to perfection which kept the room cheering out of their chairs the entire time. make sure to watch this epic and original dance!
A couple months later we met up for the portrait sessions to ensure we managed to seal this perfect wedding with our light and airy film inspired photography / videography. We started at The Rocks and Walsh Bay to take photos around the pink wall, harbour bridge and Sydney’s old laneways. After a quick costume change we headed over to Bradleys Head for one of Sydney’s famous sunsets on the water that was the cherry on top for this amazing wedding.
Anhtai and Matt certainly went extra on this one.
We were deighted having this wedding oh Anhtai and Matt published in Theodore Magazine
