Nestled in the heart of the Southern Highlands, Alison and Matthew’s wedding at Mali Brae Farm was the perfect blend of rustic charm and heartfelt celebration.
Spring had well and truly arrived in Moss Vale, bringing the rolling hills and lush pastures of Mali Brae Farm to life. Even under a soft blanket of clouds, the landscape glowed with that unmistakable Southern Highlands magic.
Everything took place onsite, giving us the perfect opportunity to capture the full story of the day — from the quiet, emotional moments to the wild dance floor celebrations. Alison prepared for the big day in the charming Dairy Accommodation, a beautiful space filled with natural light and countryside elegance — an absolute dream for bridal videography.
Their ceremony at The Ruins was one to remember. Surrounded by stone walls and the whispers of history, Alison and Matt shared personal vows that had their guests laughing one minute and tearing up the next. It was intimate, joyful, and utterly sincere.
After the ceremony, we hopped in the buggy with Mali Brae’s wonderful staff and ventured out across the property for golden hour portraits. With the Highlands as our backdrop, Highland Cows to feed and the couple completely in their element, the footage was nothing short of cinematic.
The night kicked off in The Barn — Mali Brae’s signature reception space — where rustic timber beams and candlelight set the tone for a cozy, country-style celebration. From the heartfelt speeches to the energetic dancing, every moment was filled with love, laughter, and a sense of celebration that you could feel in the air.
Alison and Matt threw one hell of a wedding, and we were so lucky to be a part of it. Mali Brae Farm remains one of our all-time favourite venues to shoot, and this day reminded us exactly why.
