Swifts Mansion, Darling Point / Doltone House, Pyrmont | Sydney
This emotional, fun, beautiful wedding of Alex and Sudipta was one to remember, shot over 2.5 days it had a little bit of everything!
Featuring 2 wedding ceremonies, one being a traditional Jewish ceremony followed by a costume change and into the traditional Bengali wedding ceremony under an amazing chuppah on the grounds of Swifts Mansion located in Darling Point, Sydney.
Due to covid and attendee size restrictions at the time, the wedding reception which was held in Dolton House, Pyrmont was scheduled a month later, in the mean time we shot a portrait session on the grounds of ICMS in Manly to ensure we captured some of their traditional attire.
The reception was one to behold a splice of Russian / Jewish / Bengali / Aussie traditions all melted into one, with 4 formal dances and costume changes to outdo any wedding!
Wasn’t without hiccup a small table fire melted one of the recorders on the night leaving Simon with a few battle burns – eeeep!
