Gilbraltar, Bowral | NSW Southern Highlands
Gibraltar in Bowral is such a beautiful venue in the Southern Highlands (Bowral) of New South Wales and the perfect place to get married in – both the ceremony by the “lake” and the gorgeous reception overlooking the luxurious golf course and Mount Gibraltar.
The accommodations are to die for – especially the huge bridal suite – and we mean HUGE.
There is so many wonderful spots for photo opportunities, our favourite would be the large trees that tower over everything.
We were also provided with golf buggy’s to get around the large venue – and everyone had so much fun. This is an absolute must for anyone who is a golf aficionado.
You can even play a round or two of golf before the wedding. There are so many benefits to having your ceremony and reception at the same place – for one, you don’t lose valuable photography time while we travel between locations, we can take both parties getting ready (again, more photography time = more photos and less missed moments).
We are also able to leave our gear behind and only take what we need for any given part of the day – this is a big one, especially since our backs are not are sore the next morning.
