Joanne and Lachlan’s Joy-Filled Wedding at The Robertson Hotel
Cloudy skies couldn’t dampen the energy of Joanne and Lachlan’s March wedding at The Robertson Hotel in the Southern Highlands. If anything, the moody weather added an extra bit of magic to an already unforgettable day.
From the moment we arrived, we knew this wedding was going to be something special. The Robertson Hotel was the perfect backdrop, elegant, warm, and set amongst lush gardens that seemed to glow in the soft light.
Joanne and Lachlan kept the day true to themselves, and every moment was filled with fun, laughter, and a whole lot of heart. Their ceremony was held outside in the gardens with their adorable dog proudly walking down the aisle as ring bearer. The colourful florals surrounding the arbour were a dream to photograph, and the vibe was relaxed and full of love.
Once the formalities were done, the party really began. Lawn games brought out everyone’s competitive side, while the champagne tower got the celebratory energy flowing. Guests gathered around as the couple poured the first glasses, kicking off the reception with a bang.
The reception space was styled to perfection – a perfect mix of classic charm and personal touches. Speeches were heartfelt, the food was incredible, and the dance floor? Non-stop.
One of the best moments of the night came during the couple’s reception announcement. Joanne and Lachlan re-entered the room with a full outfit swap. Joanne now in a suit and Lachlan in a full wedding dress. The room roared with laughter and applause, and it perfectly summed up the playful, free-spirited energy of the entire day. And yes, Joanne had not one, but two stunning dress changes throughout the night. Three if we’re counting Lachlan’s!
We ducked out for some fun portraits under the arbour and around the property during blue hour. The Robertson Hotel always delivers with its grand architecture and manicured grounds, and Joanne and Lachlan made the most of every beautiful corner.
It was the kind of day that reminds us exactly why we do what we do – full of genuine moments, wild dance moves, and a couple who clearly just love being around each other.
