A Magical Spring Wedding at Bendooley Estate
Stephanie and Brendan’s wedding was held on a perfect spring afternoon in the NSW Southern Highlands, and it was nothing short of magical. Surrounded by the region’s signature deciduous trees, manicured gardens, and the still waters of the lake, their day unfolded with so much beauty and joy.
Their ceremony took place in The Garden at Bendooley Estate, a peaceful and intimate setting under a clear blue sky. With their closest family and friends gathered around, Stephanie and Brendan exchanged vows in a ceremony that was heartfelt and full of emotion.
After the ceremony, guests made their way to the Lakeside Pavilion for cocktails while we stole away with the newlyweds for portraits. The soft afternoon light filtering through the trees made for an absolutely dreamy portrait session. The way Stephanie and Brendan looked at each other, totally smitten, made our job incredibly easy.
As the sun set, the celebrations moved to the Berkelouw Book Barn. This unique venue transforms from a rustic café into an elegant and intimate reception space. The walls lined with books and warm timber beams created a cosy and romantic vibe – perfect for a spring wedding. The speeches were filled with laughter and heartfelt stories, and the dance floor stayed full all night.
Bendooley Estate remains one of our favourite wedding venues in the Southern Highlands – it’s timeless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly versatile. Stephanie and Brendan’s day was a perfect example of how magical this venue can be when everything comes together.
We feel so lucky to have been part of such a special day.
