Guestlands, Arcadia | Sydney
Angie and Paul’s pre-wedding portrait photography at the amazing Guestlands in Arcadia, an Italian inspired boutique B&B 45min drive from Sydney which was everything we could have dreamt for.
Guestlands is a once and a lifetime photographer’s dream that became a reality for us. Once a humble nursery before owners, Jenny and Peter took ownership and turned it their vision into a Tuscan oasis. From the perfectly manicured garden’s to the micro italian alleyways and shopfronts, they really did an amazing job to throw you halfway around the world to capture a very unique photography experience.
After gushing over the property to a very warm welcome from owners Jenny and Peter we set out to capture this stunning portrait session for Angie and Paul.
With two costume options that matched perfectly for the surroundings, we set out through the gardens capturing beautiful moments as the sun set idyllically around us.
Angie and Paul did such an amazing job in front of the camera, taking to all the natural poses like season professionals. The natural light that was beaming through really played to our strengths.
We also shot film using both Portra 400 and 800 using the Pentax 645Nii which will get developed at a later date and be sure to upload once we recieve them.
Also a big shout out to their 3 little Guinea Pigs who also took centre stage (albeit one was a little naughty and went for the great escape) they were so adorable.
If you are ever looking at having a unique experience, we absolutely highly recommend Guestlands as a portrait photography location. Currently they don’t offer weddings, but as a portrait shoot or just want a weekend getaway in absolute style, make sure to get in contact with them as you will not be dissapointed.
